Anyone into this software? What themes and mods do you use? How would you compare it to other stuff out there? How do you feel about what's going on with it now?
Simple Machines (SMF) in 2024

I've played around with it over the years. It's still the same in terms of admin panel and really does need a refresh.

The default SMF is now mobile ready. We can also assume all other themes are now too. Is that right?
What might be some improvements in the panel?

Until recently, I was running a forum on SMF. I got a good deal on domain that the forum was using. My forum is offline after I sold the domain. I might soon start using a new domain for the forum and run my SMF powered forum. I find SMF really good, it is easy to use.

SMF has an uploader for mods and themes built in. That's a plus for newbies. Anyway, aside from WordPress, I don't know other software that has that.
