I received my first payment from a writing platform called Helium back in 2013. Until the site shut down in 2014, I had published over 400 articles, stories, and poems on the platform. In 2014 I joined Upwork (which was called odesk back then) and started as a freelance writer. I stopped working on Upwork when my clients started hiring me outside the platform. Currently, I do a lot of things from blogging to selling products and services online.
