Can I use Corel draw to design a mock up logo

I don't think so...coreldraw is great for vector illustration and vector graphics.
Photoshop's tools are more customable and have a bigger range of function. It is more feature-rich and has way more to offer.

Corel draw is a very broad software used for making graphic images. If you want to learn I advice that you first learn the basics for free in YouTube before going to udemy.

My experience with corel draw was very brief, therefore, I do not know what you can do on corel draw but I think you can do mock up logo on corel draw,

Sure you can if you learn how to do it on YouTube. But I find mockup logos more easier to create on Photoshop. It won't take you time to do it.
