Uploading Mods and Themes Via Uploader

Who prefers to install directly via cPanel (or something similar) or FTP? Who prefers to use uploading mechanisms on software like WordPress or SMF?

For me, uploading directly on cPanel isn't a big deal due to experience.

For wordpress, I directly upload through the dashboard, however, for forum software, I like uploading through cPanel. Sometimes files uploaded through cPanel does not properly work, therefore, I also use FTP. My favorite file uploading client is Filezilla.

For WordPress, I haven't tried uploading stuff via cPanel, but it's the same as with forum software. For forum software, I don't mess with SMF that much, so generally I have uploaded stuff via cPanel.

I never do anything with FTP.
