My introduction to Paid to post sites was through Forum Wheel and Postloop. These websites offered a lot of forums where the users could earn per post. There was a time when I was using as many as two dozen pay per post forums every day. By posting on forms for a couple of hours in a day, I was able to earn around $180 per month. Thank was back in 2015.
