Have you ever managed to solder something?

I never knew how to do this because my father did not teach me this, although I did such things myself very often, but when I grew up I decided to learn by myself and it was not as difficult as it seems and I even managed to repair some appliances and not pay for the repair

I have never tried this and have never consider doing it because I find it very risky. I never tried doing mechanical jobs.
