Do you have an unpopular niche you wish was popular again?

Do you currently have a site that's under a dead niche? Do you wish it was popular again? I have niche sites that were once popular and aren't anymore. Do you think there are ways of reviving a dead niche? Or is it once a niche is dead it's pointless to invest in?

I have a site that uses a keyword rich domain. The topic I am using for my site is also a popular topic, but the site is not receiving a lot of traffic through searches and I guess the topic is dead now. I wish the topic was popular among online searchers again.
